About Ateliér Libušín

When we came to the Czech Republic in 2001, Ateliér Libušín is the name that we chose for our new home. It is a large villa situated at the edge of the village of Libušín in the countryside not far from Prague.

Now we have completed a full reconstruction of the original house as well as building a big new extension for exhibitions, events and performances and a recording studio. The original family house was built in the 1920s on two floors with a full basement and attic. Since we came to live in the house we have made many changes and improvements to convert part of the living area into studios and workshops for our various creative projects as well as beginning to tame our very large garden and orchard.

In recent years we have welcomed many of our artist friends from abroad to visit us, either to use the facilities of Ateliér Libušín, stage events or to collaborate with us in various projects. In other sections of this website you will find articles, photographs and video clips showing some of these. It is our intention that, over time, this website will become an archive of our activities.
